Big Foot Central Coast Cup (Men) - Quarter Finals:

Berkeley Vale - 1  Umina - 0

Killarney District - 2 Southern Ettalong - 1

Kincumber - 7 Budgewoi - 1

Terrigal - 4 Doyalson - 3

Kincumber has put their Premier League opponents on notice for the 2010 season with a 7-1 thrashing of Budgewoi in their quarter final of the Central Coast Big Foot Cup played at Pluim Park. After finishing last season in a creditable sixth place following their promotion to Premier League Kincumber had a match-winning 5-0 lead by half-time. In an indication of the team’s strike power each of Kincumber’s seven goals were scored by different players.

Late penalties earned both Berkeley Vale and Terrigal semi-final places in tight matches. Brian Beveridge converted in the 80th minute to give Berkeley Vale a 1-0 win over Umina, while Terrigal’s Matt Lawrence, after scoring twice, earned a last-minute penalty which was converted by Nathan Hall to give his team a 4-3 win over Doyalson.

Killarney District took the fourth semi-spot with a 2-1 win over Division One opponents Southern-Ettalong. 

The draw for the semi-finals, to be played at Pluim Park next Sunday (7 March), will see Berkeley Vale meet Killarney District while Kincumber will play Terrigal.

Doyalson - 2 Tuggerah - 0 

Gosford City - Bye

Wyoming - Bye 

In the Womens Central Coast Cup Berkeley Vale and Doyalson will meet in one semi-final following quarter-finals wins over Avoca and Tuggerah respectively, while Wyoming and Gosford City, both of which received byes will contest the other semi-final.

The Cup Finals in both Mens and Womens competitions will be played on Sunday 14 March and coincide with the CCF Open Day at Pluim Park.
