The Gosford Showground Trust proudly presents The Gosford Regional Show 2010 as always at The Gosford Showground On May 1st & 2nd 2010.

The main target of the Gosford Regional Show 2010 is families. This will be evident in the entertainment, exhibitors and demonstrations. Osborne

Fairground Attractions will provide a myriad of new rides and sideshows providing thrills and spills and FUN,FUN,FUN.

Never fear those traditional parts of the show that families love so much will again be there in all their glory, including: Showbags, a full two day equestrian competition, agriculture pavilion, The Miss Showgirl and Junior Showgirl.

The other major attraction that will assist local business is the Hall of Industry where various businesses in the region can display their goods and services to an anticipated crowd of 15 - 20 000 people.

The international food court will provide cuisine from various countries will be able to quell the biggest hunger pains. Traditional show tucker including Pluto pups, donuts, fairy floss, cappuccino and snow cones will be plentiful.

At Entertainment Central: Big Bands, The Rough Diamonds, Jazz Bands, School Bands, the Sunday’s special Sensational Seniors Show starring the legendary Lucky Starr (back by popular demand), cooking demonstrations, kids’ song and dance shows and a whole heap more.

Display and exhibition highlights include: Reptile shows, Jake Cassar (Bush Tucker Man). An indigenous Art Display, Catch A Shooting Star Talent Quest and fireworks (Saturday evening), art, cat and lapidary shows and many other new and established attractions.

The agricultural parts of the region will be well represented animal and shows, vegetable competitions exhibitions, various displays including a wonderful contribution.

The Featured entertainment will be the amazing Bike Boy. What he can do on a push bike meters in the air as got to be seen to be believed.

There is still a small amount of trade and exhibition space left and the show coordinators are still keen to speak to individuals and representatives of service

clubs, community groups and businesses or anyone local person who feel their group could contribute and benefit from the exposure being part of this great event allows. (See contact list below).

Entry is just $10 Adults $7 kids and concessions or our “recession buster family stimulus pass for just $29” (for two adults and three kids).

Where else do you receive a day’s entry for a family of five including, free entertainment, free parking, free shuttle bus a free horse show, free activities, free fireworks, free displays and free exhibits for just $29?  MEET YOUR LOCAL HEROES STAND 

A brand new initiative this year will be The Local Heroes site “Showgoers” should come armed with autograph books and appropriate merchandise that can be signed by a myriad of personalities and sporting stars including: The Mariners, Central Coast Bears (Rugby League) The Rhino’s (Ice Hockey team) as well as celebrities, radio and television, stars and even politicians (so you can get to have you’re say one on one). A roster of “who’s there at what time” will be available at the show.

GOSFORD SHOW GIRL AND JUNIOR SHOGIRL ENTRIES

Organisers are looking for young woman between 17-24 and young girls between 7-12 to participate in the Showgirl and Junior Showgirl competitions. There are great prizes to be won including a Gold Coast holiday for two thanks to Travelworld Deepwater Plaza Woy Woy for the senior showgirl winner. Heats for Junior Showgirl will be held next week on Wednesday the 14th at The Imperial Centre Gosford at 11 and 1pm.
