  • Central Coast Baseball Association successfully bid for the 2012 World Boys Tournament. This is the first time ever that the World Boys Tournament will be held in Australia. Now 30 years on the Central Coast and Australia will have its first opportunity to host this prestigious tournament with over eight countries from around the world competing. This tournament is for players aged 14 – 16 years with teams coming from around the world to this great region. Teams from Japan (2), USA (2), Mexico (2), Korea, Italy, Peru, Taiwan, China as well as teams from across Australia are expected to compete in the high level tournament. Over 270 players are expected to participate in the event. The tournament will run for five days from the 9th – 13th August (Thursday to following Monday) at Baseball Park, East Gosford and Watanobbi Oval, Wyong on the Central Coast of NSW.
