The Annual Greater Toukley Vision Food, Fun & Music Festival is on again and will be held in the Village Green, Toukley on Saturday July 7th 2012!
From 11am till 5.30pm
The Village Green located in Canton Beach Road, Toukley will come alive with a great range of market stalls including wine tasting, great food, craft and much more.
The Village Green stage will play host to a full program of live entertainers throughout the day including the Rollercoaster Band, the Desert Flame Belly Dancers, Puppet Shows and local performers.
A highlight of the day is the annual Pasta Eating Competition proudly sponsored by Simply Sicilian Italian Restaurant and the Sausage Eating Competition for the kids sponsored by Meat at George's.
For the first time this year the program for the festival will include 'Chef's Showcase' featuring talented local Chef Stuart Downes from Shorethyme Restaurant at Norah Head. Stuart will be preparing one of his signature dishes step by step live on stage.
Bring the family along for a day of fun activities, including farmyard nursery, reptiles, Chef's on stilts, roving puppets, the circus workshop where you can try out some popular circus tricks, amusements, show bags, facepainting and much more. The day will finish with an amazing Fire Show featuring Fire Breathing and Fire Twirling.
There will be some Road closures: Canton Beach Rd between Hargraves St and Main Rd, Ron Alt Lane between Yaralla and Victoria Ave and the North section of the Coles carpark.
