Copa - good surf, less crowded, the most treachearous point break on the East Coast. Picks up the southerly swells easy, and is protected from the dreaded Nor' Easter. Plus the muffins at the bakery afterward - as big as your fist and full of flavour.

I'm with you StarFan01...Copa is def the best! And it's still one of the beaches that you can pull up a piece of sand and not be crammed in like sardines...like Avoca in the middle of Summer!

you are all crazy - has nobody told you that sharks live out there ? And don't mention shark nets - if cruise liners can get through so can a great white. Stay on dry land and don't be fish food!

dont go to the beach much, my daughter would love to go to the beach all the time, but because she is albino we dont take her much cause she gets burnt even with suncream on.

Umina or Ocean Beach great for the real littlies, nice gentle swell. Safe.

Avoca - great for taking ur dog for a walk
