My bill was nearly $700 for the quarter, with only 2 of us. It went up nearly $200 since the same time last year. What's going on Energy Australia. I'm thinking about chamging companies or going solar.

Energy Australia were very clever and enticed customers last year to sign up for 3 years, with a $xx rebate to be spread over a years bills. Very clever, many are now locked in and can't change.

Anyone read the news today (other then the F3 fiasco)? And see that the 64% increase in electricty will not be applied to big business - such as Coles, Woolies, Mining companies .. nor will it be applied to any Government departments.

Yet again us regular folk and the small/family businesses will be slugged while the fat cats and their cronies feel no pain!

Well done, yet again, State Labor Govt!

Energy Australia tried to get me to sign the contract a couple of times last year but I refused so they don't ask now!

I got a bill for approx 750.00!!! It is usually between 350.00 & 400.00. We have not made any changes and there is only the 2 of us with no kids. I got one of those electricity audits done & he said that I was one of the very few people that he can't explain why it is that high!!! Sucks Ha!!!
