I support you with the Vegas idea Rod. No hassles from family or friends & most importantly its cheaper!! My husband & I had a very small wedding with 7 guests - all planned in 4 weeks. Our friends that came still talk about it 8 years on - was such a fun day & it was OUR day.

NO Rod DON'T do it just because of "peer" pressure. i'm sure that charlie knows how much u love her and im sure when the time is right for both of you it will happen. My Hubby n I were together for 7.5ys and had 2 kids before we got married. So Mr SINGLE flack.......... leave rod alone cos if i was Charlie and rod proposed to me now i'd be kinda pissed that he only did because every said he HAD to. hope this helps u Rod... love Rach xx

Rod don't do it just because others tell you too. My husband (also called Rod) and I were together for 9 years before we got married. Its important to makes the right decision for you guys not everyone else.......

U know this is the only power u will ever hold over a woman, once u pop the question, u will never hold the upper hand ever again. U know what that song says u gotta know when to hold em and know when to foldem . Stay strong ,do it for the other guys that r in your situation.

Do it when you are ready, not because Flack says you should.

Make sure that its what you both want.

Surprise her and be romantic - every woman loves to be swept off her feet.

Good Luck!!

Hey Rod,

I see your point and i see flacks point!! come on do it it's all over the radio now . Make it a very special occasion and pop the question, trust me i've been with my boyfriend for a while now and i wish he would for once in his life be romantic and while he is at it pop the question. But also i see your point do it when you are ready , I have given up with the hints and leaving the jewellery brochures laying around the house and also realise my BF will do it when he is ready. Good luck

I agree Rod, don't do it because others want you to. You do it in your time. Sure, you love her and obviously she sees that, but i wouldn't like it if my BF got down on his knee and proposed just because everyone told him to... i'd be wondering if he's doing it for the right reasons or if he's just doing it to appease his listeners... Go with your heart Rob, Charlie will appreciate that. And if you do decide to, make sure she knows its because you love her not because your listeners said so.

If I were Charlie and you were asking this question on a public forum I'd be pissed off!!!! You can't work it out yourself, then I think there's your answer!! Either get on with the relationship or get out so she can find someone who knows what they want.
