Nikki Webster, of ‘Strawberry Kisses’ and The Masked Singer fame, and a Central Coast local, is calling for auditions to launch the Aussie version of reality TV show Dance Moms.

You know, the show where parents yell, kids cry, Abby Lee-Miller gets done for fraud and Maddie Ziegler gets scooped up by Sia. Yeah, that one.

The callout is for kiddos aged between eight and sixteen who “have the dance moves, dedication and drive to be a star,” and “outshine everyone they compete against.” The prize? What could be the “beginning of their promising dance career.”

Potential entrants need to upload two 60 second videos to YouTube, one dancing and one interacting with their parent or caregiver.

There’s no official start date but auditions are slated to start late January and early February in NSW (where Nik’s studios are) next year.
