“I am praying that it’s nothing major because if it is, that means we’ll have to go home.”
Channel Seven’s My Kitchen Rules has made headlines today after a promo for the show aired, revealing that a contestant was rushed to the hospital during one of the team dinners.
The advert shows Suong doubled over on a couch as her MKRpartner Kim crouches over her, checking to see if she is feeling okay.
Apparently, the cook began to feel unwell while tasting one of the courses and was eventually forced to get up and leave the table:
“I’m getting hot and cold flushes and I’m not feeling too well. I need to leave right now,” she said.
Kim went on to explain:
“This is not Suong. There’s definitely something going on. Something’s wrong.
“I am praying that it’s nothing major because if it is, that means we’ll have to go home.”
Eventually, an ambulance was called to the site and paramedics assessed Suong’s condition.
