Did they go too far?
It’s finally happened, friends.
The dramatic exit that Channel Seven has teased for like thirty-five years has officially gone down and wow, was it intense.
During Wednesday night’s episode of My Kitchen Rules, there was a heated showdown between contestants Sonya, Hadil, Jess and Emma. The argument became pretty nasty, quickly with a lot of finger-pointing and low-blows, but there was one comment that took the spat to a level host Manu could not accept.
A couple of contestants became involved in the disagreement, asking Sonya and Hadil to settle down and show some respect and when this started, the pair did not react well.
“Shut up Josh! Stay out of it, don’t make me come for you,” Hadil threatened.
“We’ll come for you too, don’t you worry!” She also spat at Stella and Jazzey.
Sonya backed up Hadil’s comments, telling the table of contestants:
“I’ll come for all of you, because you’re all disrespectful a***holes!”
It was after these threats began that Manu intervened:
“Enough! Things have got too out of hand, this is a cooking competition, and this behaviour is unacceptable. Sonya and Hadil, you are excused from the table!”
