REVEALED: The dramatic aftermath of Sonya and Hadil getting the boot from MKR

2 min read

WHOA.

My Kitchen Rules is seeing its fair share of controversy (see: first ever) with chefs Sonya and Hadil reportedly booted from the competition due to “unprecedented attacks” against fellow competitors.

“We would like to take a moment to talk about the events that led to one team being removed from My Kitchen Rules,” Manu says in the promo for the show tonight.

“After continued warnings and an unprecedented attack on all the teams, we had to act.”

While at Jess and Emma’s dinner party, Sonya and Hadil are believed to have dished (pun intended) out some savage criticisms:

“The fact that they’re here is an insult to anyone that can cook,” Hadil can be heard saying.

The comments then turn personal, with swipes made between the four women throughout the event.

Ultimately though, TV Week report Sonya and Hadil whose comments were most aggressive and personal, resulting in their dismissal.

Since these rumours emerged, judge Manu has revealed toThe Daily Telegraph that the booted duo tried desperately to apologise to him via Facebook, but the 44-year-old wasn’t having any of it.

“I got a message on Facebook from one of the people apologising for this and that,” Manu told the publication.

“But it’s their life and their reputation and it’s not going to affect me the rest of my life.

I really don’t care what their excuse was because there’s no excuse for this type of behaviour.”
