5 delicious places for a girls lunch on the Central Coast

3 min read

Grab your activewear!

Tommy’s Café I Gosford

We’re not going to lie – we spend more time in our active wear than we probably should. In fact, if we’re being honest, we’ve worn our gym tights the last five times we’ve gone shopping with no shame and no plans to go the gym at all. If you love activewear as much as us, then Tommy’s Café is the place for you. It’s a super relaxed environment, and activewear is 100% welcome! No one needs to know that the only reason your wearing your stretchy tights is because you plan to devour their wild mushroom risotto with a side of chips – and you need the breathing room!

The Lucky Bee I Frankies Rooftop I Woy Woy

We’re in need of a little bit of luck. Just today we’ve managed to send an awkward email to the wrong person, wave back at someone who was waving to the person behind us, and stepped on not one but TWO Legos! Well, it seems our luck has come in the form of The Lucky Bee at Frankies Rooftop. The Lucky Bee is a rooftop eatery that combines all the flavours of Thailand, Vietnam and China into stunning meals created to be shared by friends and family! Plus, they have over 100 different drink options… and we might just need all of them to get over the embarrassment of that email!

The Kitchen I Ourimbah RSL I Ourimbah

You know that feeling when all you want to do is catch up with your girls, but the bills have just hit? You thought you’d have enough spending money for seafood lunch and two glasses of expensive wine, but now you’re staring at your phone bill wondering how all three of your kids managed to go over their data limits! Well, you’ll never have that conundrum again because The Kitchen lets you eat well AND pay for that phone bill! They have 12 delicious lunches for $12 including a creamy chicken and bacon primavera pasta, and a chicken, bacon and avocado pizza. Now just to figure out how to increase your data limit!

The Sitting Duck I The Springs Peats Ridge I Peats Ridge

It’s a general rule that at a girl’s lunch there needs to be a whole lot of gossip. You need to talk about Barbra in accounting who won’t stop bugging you over a July report, about your sisters annoying new husband, and about that one person you can’t stand on The Block. Talking about all of this stuff can be pretty stressful, so why not do it in one of the most relaxing and beautiful restaurants on the Central Coast. The Sitting Duck restaurant at The Springs is nestled in the tranquil Hinterlands, and serves up a delicious, changing menu based on the availability of local produce. Nothing pairs better with gossip than gourmet food!

Saddles I Mount White

Sometimes it feels like a long cattle drive trying to find a good place to eat that’s a little different. It feels like you spend days on a horse working hard to get a result – and oh man, imagine the chaffing! Well there’s no need to saddle up and put in the hard yards anymore, because Saddles has you covered! It’s the hottest new restaurant on the Central Coast offering up an eatery serving up plenty of dishes made from fresh, seasonal goods, and a bakery with plenty of breads and classic sweet treats. We might need to reign in our appetite at this restaurant!
