Calling all sweet tooths!

The Banoffee I The Chocolate Factory I Gosford

Sometimes our sweet tooth gives us a little nudge towards a choc chip cookie or a piece of chocolate, but when you head to The Chocolate Factory that little nudge turns into one whopping big push! If the walls lined with chocolate, fudge and lollies don’t get your sweet tooth excited, the delicious banoffee waffles at their in-house café will definitely do the trick! In this dish, waffles are formed into perfect little baskets and filled with Peruvian caramel, vanilla bean ice cream, fresh banana, crushed almonds and toasted coconut before being topped with a mouth-watering pistachios crumble. Check out their full dessert menu here.

Nutella Pizza I El Forno I Long Jetty

The words ‘dessert’ and ‘pizza’ make our tummies rumble all by themselves, but put the two words together? Oh man, our tummies will practically be screaming at us for a bite! The Nutella Pizza at El Forno sees deliciously crispy dough smothered in a generous glaze of Nutella and topped with your choice of sweet toppings. Chocoholics can choose from the Oreo and MnM pizza, while those after a little freshness and sweetness can grab the strawberry, banana, and marshmallow pizza. You might just have to take some earplugs to drown out your rumbling tummy! Check out the menu here!

Fried Banana and Caramel Waffles I Archie’s Brasserie in Central Coast Leagues Club I Gosford

Sharing is often looked upon as a positive thing. We share interests, we share equipment, we share knowledge etc. However, if there’s one thing you definitely don’t HAVE to share it’s your dessert – and boy, you won’t want to share this sweet dish at Archie’s Brasserie! Their dessert waffles see two fluffy yet crispy waffles piled high with fried banana, caramel sauce, butterscotch ice cream, and a dollop of fresh cream. And sure, you COULD share these beauties with your dinner companion, but after one bite you’ll probably end up changing your mind! See more of their menu here.

Dessert Tasting Plate I The Box on the Water I Ettalong

Let’s be honest here – making a choice from the dessert menu is one of the hardest things. You’ll pick one thing, and as soon as you see your friend’s dessert, you’ll instantly get food envy. Well, you won’t have to worry about that at The Box on the Water! This waterfront restaurant has created a dessert tasting plate where you can chow down on not one, but THREE desserts. Enjoy rhubarb and strawberry consommé, a delicious chocolate brownie topped with macadamia, raspberry coulis, and white chocolate ice cream, and a mille-feuille filled with mango, mascarpone and served with passionfruit sorbet! See more of their menu here.

Banoffee Pie Pizza I The Coast Bar and Restaurant I Gosford

Some people think that all good things come in sets of three, but let us tell you that that is completely wrong. The REALLY good things in life come in sets of five – like the five delicious ingredients that make up the Banoffee Pie Pizza at The Coast Bar and Restaurant. A deliciously crispy yet soft pizza base is smothered with caramel sauce and topped with a trio of fresh bananas, a sweet crumble, and a scoop of ice cream. Five delicious ingredients = one damn good dessert pizza! Find their full menu here.
