Central Coast Council held an exciting new offering ‘Harvest Festival Central Coast’ on the June long weekend with events happening across the Calga, Somersby, Peats Ridge, Mangrove Mountain, Kulnura and Yarramalong areas. We were there, broadcasting live from A Day On The Farm joined by crowds of over 4,000 people. The fog and drizzle obviously didn’t deter visitors who put on their gumboots and flannos to get hands on with workshops and fruit picking.
In celebrating the fantastic local produce and unique producers crowds also enjoyed a factory tour and Mocktail bar from Eastcoast Beverages.
The Road Stars got their hands dirty with our grass head making workshops and loved meeting everyone that came.
As a collaboration with the local farmers, businesses and community groups the Festival, we predict, looks forward to a fruitful future (pun intended!).
