2 min read

Another day, another property milestone for the Central Coast with several local suburbs named amongst some of the most sought after in the state for home buyers.

The Entrance and Ettalong have been named amongst a whole host of Central Coast suburbs that are in popular demand with would-be homebuyers according to realestate.com.au.

The Entrance led the way, closely followed by Chittaway Bay as being some of the most sort after spots in NSW.

The beachside locales of Chittaway Bay and Booker Bay followed closely behind, with Umina Beach and Ettalong beach rounding out the list of the most sought-after spots according to realestate.com.au.

That wasn’t all relestate.com.au found with the team naming Budgewoi and Chain Valley Bay as one of the cheapest spots on the Central Coast to snag a house.

The current median sale price in Budgewoi is $630,000 whilst you can stick a sold sticker on a for sale sign for $677,500 in Chain Valley Bay according to realestate.com.au.

The Entrance follows close behind with a median sale price of $797,00 whilst Chittaway Bay currently holds a median sale price of $837,500.

Bateau Bay joined the list alongside, the Peninsula suburbs of Umina Beach, Woy Woy and Booker Bay.

Not one to be outdone, the northern end of the coast was also named as some of the cheapest spots for a unit with The Entrance and The Entrance North the place to buy.

We might only be three weeks in, but it has already been a big year for the Central Coast property market with a house at Wagstaffe expected to become the region’s most expensive homes ever sold thanks to its $13 million-plus price guide.

Meanwhile, a report from the NSW Valuer General has revealed land value on the Central Coast has soared by a whopping 45.5% over the past twelve months.
