Let’s go exploring!
Hike along the Bouddi Costal Walk
This eight-kilometre hike is perfect for those looking to take in as much of Bouddi National Park as possible! Passing through beaches and rainforest, this walk will take you past highlights such as Gerrin Point Lookout, the PS Maitland shipwreck, and Putty Beach.

Take a dip at Lobster Beach
Sheltered in natural bushland, this beach is tucked away from busy roads and loud cafes. It’s a calm paradise perfect for snorkelling and floating in the clear waters. Although we would have loved to keep this gem a secret, we couldn’t be shellfish!

Set up your tent at Putty Beach Campground
Rise to the sounds of the waves crashing, and wonder onto the beach that is only steps from your campground. It’s the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the serenity with your new neighbours – the bush turkeys. They might steal your food here and there, but at least they don’t have any loud parties.

Take in the views at Gerrin Point Lookout
Only a short walk from Putty Beach campground, Gerrin Point Lookout hosts paronamic views of Maitland Bay and the Bouddi National Park Marine Extension. Although the lookout can get quite windy, we bet the only thing you’re blown away by is the view.

Snorkel at Maitland Bay
Tucked away in quiet cove, Maitland Bay is a calm and relaxing beach perfect for snorkelling. Head to the beaches rocky points at either end to catch a glimpse of some stunning underwater wildlife. You might even see the entire cast of Finding Nemo down there!
