Stop 1: Picnic at Tea Tree Lookout
Tucked into the Munmorah State Conservation Area is the breathtaking Tea Tree lookout and picnic area. With sweeping views to where the sea meets the sky, it’s the perfect first stop on your road trip – just make sure not to get too absorbed by the view because we’ve still got six more stops to go!

Stop 2: Take in the views at Norah Head Lighthouse
Overlooking picturesque views of Lighthouse beach, the historical lighthouse is a must see on any journey. Constructed in the 18th century, the old timey building is great for some photography (and a sneaky selfie for Instagram).

Stop 3: Relax at Crackneck Lookout
When you get stressed it’s time to crack your neck and head to Crackneck lookout. You’ll be treated to panoramic views of Shelly Beach and beyond, and if you’re feeling energetic, why not take a walk along the The Coast walking track? Stop 4: Swim at Lobster Beach in Bouddi National Park
Lobster Beach is the Central Coast’s version of the Whitsunday’s. Nestled on the coastal area of Bouddi National Park, the beach feels miles away from any sort of civilisation. Lobster Beach offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing and fishing. Just don’t sunbathe too long or else you’ll end up looking like a lobster yourself.

Stop 5: Marvel at the miracles of nature at Mt Penang Gardens
With twelve unique gardens, sculptures and cascading waterfalls, Mt Penang Gardens will take your breath away. Unfortunately, it will also make you realise that your dying tulip collection isn’t as impressive as you thought.

Stop 6: Stand under a cascading water at Somersby Falls
Let the stresses of the day just wash away in the flowing waters of Somersby Falls. Now, try not to fall over while you’re running out of the water Baywatch style. We learned the hard way.

Stop 7: Admire the most beautiful view on the coast at Warrah Lookout
Offering scenic views of Broken Bay and the Hawkesbury River, Warrah Lookout has to be one of the best views in the region. The lookout is sat atop a rock formation and it can sometimes feel like you might fall off. Don’t worry, the only falling you’ll be doing is falling in love with the view!
