What Ever Happened To Eric Lloyd AKA Bowl Cut Kid From The Santa Clause?

2 min read

Eric Lloyd may be best known for parading his bowl cut around the set of The Santa Clause with Tim Allen but before we dive into what the former child actor is up to now, please know that our fondest, most enduring memory will always be the 1996 classic, Dunston Checks In.

It’s a classic tale where an Orangutan is trained to steal jewels, money and other expensive items from hotel rooms. Rupert Everett and Jason Alexander also star. All in all, A+, five stars, and a film we’re sure our mothers groaned at being forced to view ad nauseam.

But we digress, where is Eric now? Is he still acting? Has he graduated beyond the ol’ circle trim?

A now 34-year-old Eric Lloyd, as of right now, has mostly left acting behind.

After The Santa Clause (all three in the series) and appearances in Dunston Checs In, My Giant and Batman & Robin (the one with Uma Thurman and Arnold Schwarzenegger), Eric kind of dropped away from being in front of the camera. His last acting credit was a TV miniseries called True Perfection in 2012.

According to his website, Eric has set his sights on being a behind-the-scenes guy after graduating from Chapman University with a BFA in film production. He is reportedly living in Los Angeles and is the co-owner of LP Studios, a company which provides production and post production services for the film and music industries.

And, if we needed confirmation that he was now a behind-the-scenes whiz, here is his gritty, black and white website pic:

RIP bowl cut.
