Road trip?

Finchley Lookout I 60 minutes from Wyong, 70 minutes from Gosford

Looking out at the wilderness from Finchley Lookout, you’d never know that you were only a mere hour from Wyong. In fact, in the calm and silent area surrounded by beautiful trees, you’d think you’d be more likely to be in a David Attenborough documentary than a few kilometres from the M1. This beautiful lookout overlooks the majestic Mount Yengo and beyond with panoramic views over Yengo National Park, and can be reached by the 1km Finchley Cultural Walk. Click here for more info.

Gap Creek Falls I 45 minutes from Wyong, 60 minutes from Gosford

If there’s a little gap in your weekend plans, then Gap Creek Falls is the way to go! And yes, we do know that was a bit of a dad joke we just made. Located in Watagans National Park, this waterfall can be reached by a 1.5km track that will take you through dense rainforest and an amphitheatre of rock formations before arriving at the breath-taking falls. Click here for more information.

Bongon Beach I 40 minutes from Wyong, 60 minutes from Gosford

Hidden along the coast line in Munmorah State Conservation Area is a stunning quiet spot known as Bogon Beach. This calm beach is perfect for those are looking for a gentle swim in the ocean to wash away all the stresses of daily life. A dip in the water will wipe that upcoming mortgage payment from your mind, a sunbathe on the sand will make you forget all about that annoying co-worker who keeps eating your lunch, and a snorkel is guaranteed to remove any thoughts of that worrying car noise that you’ve been ignoring for two weeks by turning up the radio. Upper Gledhill Falls I 60 minutes from Gosford, 75 minutes from Wyong

Located in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, this beautiful waterfall flows into a large, deep pool with plenty of room for swimming. The water is cool and refreshing, and a swim in this beautiful natural pool will make you feel alive and awake. And to think – we normally need at least two cups of coffee to feel like that! Click here for directions.

Barnetts Lookout I 45 minutes from Gosford, 56 minutes from Wyong

Located in Berowra, this beautiful vantage point overlooks the shining waters of Berowra Creek and the rolling green hills of Berrilee and Berowra Heights. We guarantee that it will take your breath away (in a good way – not in a ‘I just walked up three sets of stairs’ way)! Click here for more info.
