Holy moly!
While most of us are going to be stuck paying off our mortgages for 20+ years, the people in this Aussie town don’t even have to take out a loan to buy a home!
Last week, a home in Hughenden, Queensland was sold for less than $18,000 – the average price for a new hatchback car.
Listed on realestate.com.au, the small house came ‘as is’ with an asking price of $18,000.
The Ray White agent in charge of the property stated that the house was “too far gone” to live in and that the family bought the home for the land.
The average housing price in Hughenden is quite low, with many houses selling for under $30,000.
