Kmart’s talented furniture designers strike again
While all of Kmart’s homewares items are trendy AF, one new product, in particular, has been making waves on Instagram account @kmart_bargains. Side note: if you don’t follow them, do so now.
It’s their new braided ottoman, which comes in grey and natural and will only set you back $29. According to Kmart’s site, the ottomans aren’t available yet online, but according to the Instagram account, they’ve already hit stores.
The admin of the account, which is WA-based, shared a screenshot of them on the company’s site, writing, “I was lucky enough to pick up the grey braided ottoman yesterday – it’s so lovely in person!”
Snazzy-looking, huh? The grey looks even better in this in-person shot and ohmygodwewantonerightnow.
Kmart’s been killing it with their designer-looking, but super affordable products in recent years.
This month, the company’s Managing Director Ian Baliey announced they’d be slashing the costs of 320 of its products. While he didn’t explain why, it’s clearly a direct result of massive e-tailer Amazon hitting Australia in the very near future.
Guys’ shirts went from $5 (already cheap) to $4.50 (dirt cheap). And yoga mats are now $8 instead of $10.
