Very weird!
Choosing who to invite and who to cross of the list when planning a wedding is precarious to say the least. You don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but there’s no way you’re paying $65 a head for your fiancés weird second cousin.
However, is it okay to uninvite someone from your wedding? Perhaps even uninvite your bridesmaid?
Well, one bride has taken to the discussion forum Mumsnet to ask for advice on this very issue.
“My bridesmaid has dyed her hair this week a horrible pink colour and I am getting married next saturday [sic]. Am I being unreasonable to ask her to dye it back or uninvite her from the wedding?” the user wrote.
“For context she is incredibly self-centered and always wants the attention to be focused on herself and I think she has done it just to stick out in the photos,” she continued.
However, those on the forum didn’t take the advice well with many calling her selfish and “ridiculous”.
“Why did you ask a woman you obviously dislike to be your bridesmaid?” on user wrote.
“No one is going to support the bride here! Just be honest!” another chimed in.
