Central Coast Carols 2018 line up announced

2 min read

It’s back on 21st December!

The Star104.5 Central Coast Carols have proved to be a massive hit with Central Coast residents with thousands flocking to the Central Coast Stadium for the 2017 Christmas celebration.

The event, which raises fund for the Cancer Council NSW, will be making its return on 21st December with a stellar line-up of stars taking the stage this year.

On this morning’s show, Rabbit and Julie Goodwin revealed that stars such as Sam Moran, Nikki Webster, and Wendy Mathews will be making an appearance at the 2018 event.

Nikki Webster, an Australian singing sensation and Central Coast local, has been involved in the carols through her local dance school Dance @ Nikki Webster for many years, however this will be the first year Webster will be performing on stage.

“Dance @ Nikki Webster has done it every year since the Cancer Council started the carols…” Webster told Rabbit and Julie. “But it’s exciting that this year I get to share the stage and sing, and get in that Christmas spirit!”

“It’s all about getting in the Christmas spirit, isn’t it? All about the kids and raising money for such a wonderful cause.”

Webster will share the stage with singer and children’s entertainer Sam Moran, who played the Yellow Wiggle from 2006 to 2012.

Wendy Mathews, the much-loved 90’s singer with such hits as “Let’s Kiss”, will also be performing.

Hosted by Rabbit and Julie Goodwin, the carols will not only showcase featured artists, but also give plenty of local artists and acts the chance to perform. On the night, there is scheduled to be plenty of fun including games, food, an appearance by Santa, and a massive fireworks display!

In 2017, the Star104.5 Carols raised $39,750 for the Cancer Council NSW.
