The cheapest state in Australia to buy coffee has been revealed

1 min read

How much for our daily brew?

Most of us need a coffee to get through out day. This means that a whole bunch of us are forking out $4+ per day for a good cuppa, or we’re stirring up a mug of instant Nescafe in the break room.

However, have you ever wondered where it’s cheapest to get your daily brew? Well, according to the latest Square Australian Coffee Report, NSW is the clear winner!

Those of us in NSW are paying 8c to $1 less than all other states in the country.

So, why are us NSW locals paying less? Well, a Square spokesman attributed it to our extremely competitive coffee market – especially in Sydney. All of the coffee shops are trying to out-do each other resulting in a cheaper brew for us.

Alright, guys – time for a coffee break, hey?
