Last week, it was revealed that a Woy Woy dog has been injured in a vicious attack. According to reports, a man allegedly fired a spear gun into the head of Millie, a brown Labrador cross, leaving her in critical condition.
Millie was rushed to the vet, and now continues to receive specialist care.
In the wake of the attack, the spirit of human kindness has become apparent with the community rallying to raise thousands of dollars to assist with the expenses of Millie’s care. A GoFundMe campaign was created by the team at Animal Talent to help with the costs of not only the current bills but the cost of rehabilitation.
Donations began flooding in from all over Australia and all over the world. The campaign is just $1300 short of reaching it’s $15,000 goal.
The page states:
“Millie is only 3 years old and just starting out in her life journey. Her owner is a hard-working everyday mum who wants to give her special girl every chance to survive. We would all want the same for our four-legged friends… In a world impacted by cruelness, greed and hate, we need all the Millie’s we can get.”
