Let’s eat!

Yep, you read right, if you want to binge on chocolate this Easter, go right ahead!

Oral hygiene experts, TePe, say that it’s better for your teeth at least to eat your chocolate in one go rather than spreading it out across the day.

When you eat chocolate it takes your mouth 20 minutes to two hours to re-balance the acids in your mouth and if your constantly eating it throughout the day it’s as though your teeth are under “constant attack”.

TePe also recommended eating your chocolate after a meal so the acid damage isn’t as severe and your teeth have more time to recover.

It might not be the right thing to do for your waistline and blood sugar, but hey at least you’re doing what’s right for your teeth?!
