We’re drooling.

Just as we thought we had settled on a favourite burger at Macca’s, they drop this on us!

We spent months biting into Big Mac’s, and chowing on a Chicken Bacon Deluxe’s in the hopes of figuring out our favourite burger, but now we’ve got a whole new, delicious burger to consider – the Wagyu Beef Burger.

The juicy and delicious Wagyu beef patty on the burger is served between a brand-new gourmet bun, alongside a specifically created sauce, crispy bacon strips, caramelised onion, tomato, lettuce, and a slice of coon cheese.

We’re hungry already.

It’s a world-first for Macca’s having never cooked up a burger featuring 100% Australian-bred Wagyu beef.

Local franchiser, Ron Mussalli, is confident that us Coasties will love sinking our teeth into the Wagyu Beef Burger:

“We’re proud to say that the Wagyu Beef burger is 100% Aussie, and I’m confident that the Central Coast locals will fall in love with it. It doesn’t matter if you tuck into it at Tuggerah or eat it up at Erina, you’ll love it.”

It officially launches at 10:30am this morning!

We’re going to need a long lunch break.
