The changes were put into place on Monday.
Gosford City Car Park has finally bid adieu to the good old-fashioned cashier booth in 2019, introducing pay stations from the beginning of this week.
As of Monday 14th January 2019, casual visitors to the car park will now be required to pay for parking via updated technology installed near the lifts and exits. You know what that means? No more fumbling around in your wallet trying to find your coins while an impatient line grows behind you!
Casual parkers are able to pay by cash or card a pay station near the lift, or via card at the boom gate terminals located at the exits.
Frequent casual parkers can also purchase a ‘top-up card’ that can be preloaded with money, and allows the parker to access their vehicle even after the carpark has closed (i.e. you can get your car and go for a sneaky Macca’s run whenever you want).
Nothing much changes for permanent account holders except for the introduction of new access cards. Account holders are required to pick up a new access card ASAP as the old passes will no longer work.
Fees, opening hours, and staff will not be changing.
