Massive pick-your-own sunflowers harvest returns to the Central Coast!

1 min read

The event was a massive success earlier this year!

In January of this year, the Central Coast saw it’s very first pick-your-own sunflowers event – and boy, was it popular!

Within the first hour of the planned five-hour event, the fields were bare and many Coasties made their way home with bunches of beautiful flowers in their arms.

Well, get your vases ready because the event is coming back this month!

On Saturday 27th April, Yarramalong Turf Supplies in Wyong Creek will open their gates to a massive pick-your-own sunflowers harvest day! You can wonder amongst the tall flowers, and pick whatever flowers take your fancy – just pay for what you pick!

There’ll also be a jumping castle on the day, and the farm is just near Turf Hut Espresso which will be serving delicious coffee, cold drinks, pies, and sweet treats!

Entry to the event is completely free, and those who just want to pop in to take photos or have a picnic on the grounds are welcome! Plus, it’s going to be dog friendly!

You can find out more information here.
