Parts of drought-stricken NSW will have up to 90 per cent chance of rain.

The Bureau of Meteorology is reporting an intense burst of rain is going to drench parts of the country this weekend with a month’s worth of rain falling in just two days. 

According to the Daily Mail, New South Wales will experience the downpour from Friday as the system moves across from Western Australia.

South Australia will be hit before NSW and Queensland. 

It’s expected that 50mm of rain will fall in just one day in Sydney. According to the Bureau of Meteorlogy, Gosford is expected to get up to 25mm rain while The Entrace will recieve 20mm. 

Tamworth and its surrounding areas will have between 75 and 90 per cent chance of rain with as much of 80mm could fall in northern parts of the state.
