People are outraged after airport café charged $10 for 'horrific' breakfast

2 min read

No thanks!

No one expects good food on a plane. We’ve become very accustomed to the dry and depressing food when we’re in the sky. However, it looks like the bad food is spreading from the planes to the airports – more specifically the airport food courts.

The online community was outraged and disgusted when Reddit user M1BG posted a snap of his “horrific” airport breakfast from a fast-food restaurant at Luton Airport in England.

The photo shows two soggy pieces of bread and three watery eggs thrown into a cardboard box. Geez, you can tell these people learned nothing about plating up from Masterchef, right?

The poster wrote “TBH I was hoping a little more effort would have gone into my £5.70 (AU$10.20) eggs on toast breakfast from Friska at Luton Airport”.

Others online joked about the sorry state of the meal, saying that they’d pay £5.70 “to not eat that food”. If we’re being honest, we’d pay £5.70 per watery egg to not have to LOOK at that breakfast, let alone eat it.

We’ll stick to our watered down airport coffee from now on.
