$29 for a lifetime of happiness.
Are you after a new best friend? We’ll, now’s your time!
RSPCA shelters all around the country are dropping their prices for their ‘Clear the Shelters’ campaign! On 23rd-25th February 2018, almost all of the available pets adoption prices will be slashed to $29!
Animals are desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated – so they are ready to straight into a loving home!
And it’s not just the usual cats and dogs either! The RSCPA is reducing prices on ducks, rabbits, birds, ferrets, guinea pigs and horses!
The campaign is all about getting pets into homes without financial barriers.
RSPCA Australia CEP Heather Neil states: “We want to get pets out of the shelter and into their new homes as quickly as possible, so this is a win for the animal and a win for anyone wanting to adopt a new pet – and that’s a great outcome for us.”
Some have criticised saying that the pets might be going into ill-equipped homes, however Neil puts nervous minds to rest stating, “Our data has shown us that the price of acquiring an animal has no influence on the long-term success of adoption and the welfare outcomes”.
