Well, our childhood is officially over.
Coles has confirmed that they have pulled Starbursts from its shelves due to lack of popularity and limited shelf space. This comes after Woolworths quietly pulled the much-loved lollies back in 2015.
In a statement, Coles has said:
“We have decided to no longer carry Starburst as we have numerous brands in the range and they were catering for the same need. We have taken them out and added segments of the market we were not covering well.”
Turns out we’re not the only devastated ones here as a Change.org petition has already been posted and attracted nearly 100 signatures.
