No excuses!
Rock climbing
While we can’t guarantee that you’ll have arms as good as The Rock himself, rock climbing is certainly a good way to get those toned arms you dream of. So, pull on a harness, grip onto the wall, and let go of those rainy-day blues!
Squash
When the sky turns grey and your usually running route is suddenly a small swimming pool, it becomes tempting to crawl into bed with a bag of M’n’ms and call it a day. We’ll, it’s time to squash those thoughts with a game of squash! It’ll get the heart rate up and burns heaps of calories – so many you might even be able to eat those M’n’ms after all!
Ten pin bowling
Picking up heavy objects and throwing them is a sure-fire way to grow a little muscle! Just look at the shot-putters these days – pure muscle. Ten pin bowling, while not as explosive as shot put, is a gentle and fun way to get your entire body toned – even if you only get gutter balls.

Laser tag
Let’s just all admit it. Although we say we’re going to laser tag “for the kids”, there is nothing more fun than pretending to be a super secret agent assassinating bad guys. It doesn’t matter if you’re a grandfather with ten grandkids, or a mum of three with two doctorates – laser tag will always bring out your inner kid.
Zumba
While we would love to dance the night away at the club again, it doesn’t really fit in with our lifestyle. Unless someone knows of a club where the party kicks off at 7pm so we can be home by 10pm to get a good night sleep? Instead, we choose to Zumba! It’s time to shimmy and shake – and no, we don’t mean your umbrella when you walk in out of the rain.
