2 min read

Goodbye, stress!

Do yoga at sunrise at Norah Head

If you’re down (-ward dog) for a yoga session, Norah Head is the place to do it! Cat pose your way to relaxation on the almost deserted beach, or stretch yourself into cobra pose with sweeping views of the coast from up near the lighthouse. Namaste!

Escape the city with a hike in Bouddi National Park

Say goodbye to stress, goodbye to work, and goodbye to your weird co-worker who steals your paperclips! Say hello to the relaxing and beautiful hike that is the Bouddi National Park Coastal Walk! As you weave your way through cool rainforest and secluded bays, you’ll quickly understand why some people call this one of the best costal hikes in Aus! Not sure about this hike? Don’t worry because we’ve got you covered with our ‘Top 5 hikes on the Central Coast’.

Stand under a cascading water at Somersby falls

If you had to picture the perfect scene of relaxation it would probably involve a cascading waterfall (and maybe no screaming children for five minutes). Somersby Falls is probably the most well-known waterfall on the coast, and its pools are perfect for washing away a day of stress. Stressed about getting to Somersby? Check out a waterfall closer to you here.

Sunbathe and swim at Patonga Beach

Dive into this calm and clear beach located about forty minutes south of Gosford. The bay like beach is perfect for the little ones, and the flat sand is peak sunbathing territory. Just make sure to bring sunscreen. No bright red lobsters allowed. Check out some more awesome beaches here.

Picnic at Mt Penang Gardens

Why eat that sandwich at home in front of a re-run of Ready Set Cook when you could be basking in the beauty of Mt Penang Gardens? It’s the Central Coast’s very own version of the Central Coast, and is completely free to visit! Looking for more free activities on the Central Coast? Check out our ‘Top 10 free things to do on the Central Coast.
