Uber Eats launches on the Central Coast

2 min read

Foodies rejoice!

The wait is finally over for many hungry Coasties as popular food app Uber Eats officially launched on the Central Coast today.

Gosford and Woy Woy were chosen as first two suburbs to have access to the restaurant app due to their growing foodie scene.

Hungry Gosford locals will be able to chow down on orders from restaurants like New Yok Pizza Bar and Grill, Remy & Co Pasta Bar, and Eat Street Café. Meanwhile, Woy Woy residents can indulge in slow ‘n’ low BBQ from Sounds on West, mouth-watering burgers from BMX Burgers, and refreshing breakfasts from Soul Food Café and Grocer – all of which can be either picked up or delivered to your door.

And it’s not just those who in those exact suburbs who’ll get access to the app – over 16 suburbs are covered in the delivery radiuses of both locations.

Suburbs covered by the Gosford radius include Springfield, Erina, Point Clare, Point Frederick, Wyoming, Niagara Park and Narara, while Blackwall, Ettalong Beach, Booker Bay and Umina Beach will be covered by Woy Woy’s delivery radius.

“The Central Coast culinary heavyweights join more than 20-thousand restaurants already on the Uber Eats platform across Australia, underlining Uber’s status as the operating system for everyday life,” Uber Eats head of New Zealand and regional Australia Elisa Janiec said.

To celebrate the launch of the app, Uber Eats is giving those in Gosford and Woy Woy $15 off their first order with the code #GOSWOYEATS.
