Check your freezers for these frozen foods.

A month after a large recall was issued on numerous frozen vegetable products with fears of listeria contamination, a second urgent recall has been issued containing more products.

Black and Gold’s one kilogram Mixed Vegetables, sold at IGA, Campbells and independent grocers in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania, joins the extensive list of the recalled foods.

NSW Food Authority advised of the recall after possible traces of the deadly bacteria was identified.

The same deadly bacteria caused an urgent recall on contaminated rockmelon in February, claiming six peoples lives.

Pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems are most at risk if the product is consumed.

Authorities are urging consumers to check their freezers and to take the product back to its original place of purchase for a full refund.
