Stars of the Central Coast ǀ Friday 11th May
Stars of the Central Coast sees the leaders of our local community step outside their comfort zones to perform a dance at Laycock Street Theatre to raise money for the Cancer Council NSW. The goal is to raise a $100,000 to go towards cancer research and supporting those with the disease. And, get this – our very own general manager will be taking part! Find out more here.
Banff Mountain Film Festival ǀ Friday 11th May
Known as the world’s most prestigious mountain film festival, this event showcases over two and a half hours of the most enthralling mountain adventure films! Held at Avoca Beach Picture, the curtains open at 7:30pm. More info can be found here.
Parkrun ǀ Saturday 12th May
The Parkrun is a fun way to keep fit and make some new friends! Held in two locations around the Central Coast (The Entrance and Mt Penang), the Parkrun is 5km run held at 7am for all of the community to enjoy. It’s completely free – you just have to register!
French Country Mother’s Day Market ǀ Saturday 12th May
On Mother’s Day, Chertsey Primary School in Springfield will turn into a Parisian dream! With beautiful gifts, clothes, furnishings, collectables and plenty of fresh produce available, we think this would be the perfect event for Mother’s Day! Plus, you can pick up some delicious freshly baked vreaked and scrumptious pastries. The market starts at 9am and finished up at 3pm.

Australian Comedy Festival ǀ Saturday 12th May
This two hour comedy show features a stellar line up of Australia’s headlining comedians on their 2018 tour. Held at Ettalong Diggers, tickets are $30 for members and $35 for guests. Call 4343 0111 to book, or visit the reception desk.
The Entrance Market ǀ Sunday 13th May
This weekly market takes place in the beautiful Memorial Park from 9am-2pm. Run by the Organic Food Markets, The Entrance Market offers certified organic food, artisan gourmet produce, freshly baked bread and patisserie, salami, local and French cheese, smoked salmon and other delicacies!
Menopause the Musical ǀ Sunday 13th May
Set around four women with seemingly nothing in common, this musical follow their journey to become sisters. The cast makes fun of their woeful hot flushes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. Find out more here.

Toukley Markets ǀ Sunday 13th May
Running for 30 years, the Toukley Markets are held every Sunday from 7am – 1pm at the Coles car park in Yarralla St. The next market is coming up this Sunday 25th February, and will have over 70 different stalls with plenty to offer including craft, pet products, tools, food and much more!
Mamma Mia Sing-Along ǀ Sunday 13th May
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Avoca Beach Picture Theatre will be holding a Mamma Mia sing along! Get for vocal cords ready because this event is held from 2:30pm to 5:30pm this Sunday! You can find more information here!
