Avoca Markets

The Avoca Markets have returned! The Central Coast most premier arts and music markets will pop up again at Heazlett Park Foreshore from 9am -2pm on Sunday 25th February 2018. Avoca Markets offers a relaxing setting with over 120 high quality stalls where the community can relax, shop, dine and enjoy beautiful music! Plus, these markets are dog friendly! Children’s Hospital Charity Exhibition

On Saturday 24th March 2018, Tommy’s Cafe in Gosford will hold a charity fundraiser to raise money for the Gosford Children’s Ward. Head to the cafe from 4pm-6pm to take in some beauty art with complimentary wine and canapes. You’ll even have the chance to win a framed print drawn on the day! 

Secret Saturday Book Club

On Saturday 24th March 2018 from 10am to 11am, literary lovers descend on Toukley library for an hour of relaxed book discussion! This book club meets every fourth Saturday of the month.

Copacabana Public School Fete

Copacabana Public School are holding their Fete on Saturday the 24th of March from 11am – 2pm. There will be lots of yummy food, face painting, lob-a-choc, circus performers, carnival rides, pony rides, tombola, raffles, delicious homemade cakes and a great line-up of live entertainment! So get along and support your local community by enjoying this family fun day! Buy tickets at the school or on the day. Everybody is welcome!

Australian Spirit Exhibition

Running from 22th-25th March 2018, the Australian Spirit 2018 exhibition is showing at the Gosford Regional Gallery. The exhibition is a stunning multidisciplinary art collaboration that pays tribute to the ANZAC and WW1 Centenaries.

Easter Bag Decorating

Easter is just around the corner, so why not get the kids in the Easter spirit? On Saturday 24th May 2018, take your kids along to a great morning of Easter bag decorating at Tuggerah library! They’ll need something for the Easter bunny to put all their treats in! The event kicks off at 9:30am!

Block & Tackle Avoca Beach Benefit Concert

Block and Tackle, Kincumber are hosting a Benefit Concert for Avoca Beach Family, The Jardines. A great night out, the benefit will feature legendary musician Steve Kilbey, frontman of The Church and will be emceed by none other than television personality Adam Spencer. On the 8th of February, Avoca Beach man and expat Scot Mick Jardine was welding at the Block ‘n Tackle Brewery in Kincumber, NSW when there was an explosion, causing serious burns to 30 per cent of his body. He’s on a long road to recovery and the family are counting their blessings.Support The Jardines by purchasing a ticket to the benefit concert, Tickets are $75 and include a curry and schooner as well as 5 lucky door tickets. Top to Toe Kid’s Health Check

The Top to Toe Kid’s Health Check is a free event for local families to come along and access complimentary information/assessments from 7 local health specialists (chiropractor, medical practitioner, optometrist, nutritionist, physiotherapist, podiatrist, audiometrist) all under one roof. Entry is free, plus there will be face painting, balloon animals and goodie bags! Head to Erina Hall on Saturday 24th March 2018 from 2pm to 4pm to take part!

Australian Watercolour Institute Exhibition

The Australian Watercolour Institute is the oldest and most prestigious watercolour society in Australia, and they have created an exhibition to showcase their most recent work. The exhibition, held at Gosford Regional Gallery, will demonstrate the skill, technique and styles of the members. The exhibition runs until 1st April 2018.

The Entrance Market

This weekly market takes place in the beautiful Memorial Park from 9am-2pm. Run by the Organic Food Markets, The Entrance Market offers certified organic food, artisan gourmet produce, freshly baked bread and patisserie, salami, local and French cheese, smoked salmon and other delicacies!

Toukley Markets

Running for 30 years, the Toukley Markets are held every Sunday from 7am – 1pm at the Coles car park in Yarralla St. The next market is coming up this Sunday 25th February, and will have over 70 different stalls with plenty to offer including craft, pet products, tools, food and much more!

Parkrun

The Parkrun is a fun way to keep fit and make some new friends! Held in two locations around the Central Coast (The Entrance and Mt Penang), the Parkrun is 5km run held at 7am for all of the community to enjoy. It’s completely free – you just have to register!
