You can pick your own sunflowers on the Central Coast this weekend

1 min read

It’s on this Saturday!

We’re going to be honest here – no matter how grumpy we are, we just can’t help but smile when we see sunflowers. Hell, if we’re being honest, a sunflower could probably even make us smile after watching Marley and Me.

So, as you can imagine, we would be grinning ear to ear if we ever found ourselves field of sunflowers! Well, this weekend we will finally have a chance – and you will too!

This Saturday, a little turf supply company in Wyong Creek will open the gates to its sunflower fields to let all us Coasties pick their very own sunflowers!

Entry to the event is free, and it’s a pay-what-you-pick situation with sunflowers costing $1 each. There will also be jumping castles, coffee carts, and live music on the day.

It tipped to be a busy day, with over 1,100 attending according to the Facebook event page, and another 6,600 interested.

The event will be held from 8am to 2pm at Yarramalong Turf Supplies at 133 Yarramalong Road, Wyong Creek.
