A small white house in a suburban neighborhood at sunset

OH MY GOD!

While most of us are trying to find a reasonable two-bedroom for under $400, in this Australia town you’ll have your pick of three-bedroom houses! And get this – they average at about $145 per week.

Now, while you pick your jaw off the floor, we must say that Queenstown, Tasmania isn’t exactly a hustling and bustling suburb – we’re not even sure if there a Kmart there (gasp!).

Located on the West Coast region of Tassie, the mining town has a population of 1,755 people and is known for its cheap housing prices.

We did a little bit of searching around on realestate.com.au, and found some pretty nice places at the $140 range.

This house is bang on the average price at $145 p/week and comes with three-bedrooms, one bathroom, and a carport.

7/6 Rupert Street, Queenstown

Be right back looking for mining jobs.
