Schools across the Central Coast close due to catastrophic bush fire danger

Dozens of schools have been closed in the region. 

Hundreds of schools across the Central Coast and wider New South Wales have been closed today as the threat of catastrophic bushfires in the region looms.

Public schools, private schools and TAFE and university campuses have chosen to shut down operation after a catastrophic fire danger warning was announced for the Central Coast, Sydney and Hunter areas.
