White Ribbon Triva Night Fundraiser ǀ Saturday 19th May

Did you know that the Central Coast has the highest prevalence and statistics of domestic and family violence in NSW? To fight again this, there will be a White Ribbon fundraiser held at Mingara Recreation Club. It will be a night of fun and laughter as well as plenty of prizes. The Best of Britain Op Shop Ball ǀ Saturday 19th May

Pull on your best op shop or British gear and head to Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club this Saturday for an awesome fundraising ball! Celebrate Harry and Meghan’s big bash, and raise some money for women and girls in need here on the coast and all over the world. Tickets are $90 per person, and includes a three-course meal and plenty of great prizes! More information can be found here.

 

Surf, Sand and Cars At Lakes Beach Café ǀ Saturday 19th May

Kidney Health Australia’s Kidney Kar Rally raises funds to support children and families affected by kidney disease. On Saturday 19th May 2018, Lakes Beach Café are holding a ‘Surf, Sand and Cars’ event encouraging people to get their cars out of the garage, enjoy a coffee whilst raising funds for ‘Team Tardis’ who are taking place in the Kidney Kar Rally for Kidney Health Australia’s ‘Kidney Kids Camps’. This event runs every 3rd Saturday of the month.

 

Helping Chantelle Smile Again Garage Sale ǀ Saturday 19th May

On Saturday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, you can head down to the Tumbi Vale Girl Guide Hall to pick up some bargain goods and help a little girl smile again. Chantelle is a local girl who has been chosen to represent her dance school and showcase her talents in the USA. One problem – the funds that her family has raised were stolen! The family and the community are rallying together to help send Chantelle to the USA. If you can’t make it to the sale but still want to help out, you can donate here.

 

Million Paws Walk ǀ Sunday 20th May

It’s the biggest day in the calendar for the pooches of the Central Coast! The Million Paws Walk will be taking place at Lyons Park, Gosford this Sunday! There’ll be plenty of fun activities such as agility courses, cake and coffee stalls, games, info stalls, a sausage sizzle, and you’ll even see STAR104.5 there too! The event starts at 8:30am, with the walk kicking off at 10:15am! Find more information here.

Roundabout Central Coast Community Circus Jam ǀ Sunday 20th May

The Central Coast Community Circus Jam is an awesome event that runs twice per month on the 1st and 3rd Sunday. You can come along to practice flow toys, juggling, hoop, acro and unicycling! It’s totally FREE and everyone is welcome – beginner or expert! This Sunday’s event will be held at Terrigal Haven. Find out more information here.

 

Toukley Markets ǀ Sunday 20th May

Running for 30 years, the Toukley Markets are held every Sunday from 7am – 1pm at the Coles car park in Yarralla St. The next market is coming up this Sunday, and will have over 70 different stalls with plenty to offer including craft, pet products, tools, food and much more!

 

Charity Ride for Central Coast Kids in Need ǀ Sunday 20th May

On Sunday 20th May 2018, strap on your helmet and pull on your leather jackets because the annual fundraising Charity Ride is on again! Raising funds for the wonderful work done by Central Coast Kids in Need, participants will ride from CC Leather Rider in Doyalson to the Catho Pub in Cahterine Hill Bay. Cost is $20 per rider, with all proceeds going to Central Coast Kids in Need. Find out more here!

The Entrance Market ǀ Sunday 20th May

This weekly market takes place in the beautiful Memorial Park from 9am-2pm. Run by the Organic Food Markets, The Entrance Market offers certified organic food, artisan gourmet produce, freshly baked bread and patisserie, salami, local and French cheese, smoked salmon and other delicacies!

 

Parkrun ǀ Saturday 20th May

The Parkrun is a fun way to keep fit and make some new friends! Held in two locations around the Central Coast (The Entrance and Mt Penang), the Parkrun is 5km run held at 7am for all of the community to enjoy. It’s completely free – you just have to register!
